Every year since its inception in 1987, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award is handed out to college football’s most outstanding senior or fourth-year junior quarterback. With the season entering its final month, the award has narrowed its candidates down to five semifinalists, three of which are from Big 12 conference schools. The award will be presented in Baltimore, Maryland on Dec. 9. Last year’s winner was Wisconsin QB Scott Tolzien.
