Michigan safety arrested for home invasion

Michigan v Ohio State AP

From the knucklehead file:

Backup Michigan safety Marvin Robinson has been slapped with a second-degree home invasion charge and will face a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, multiple media outlets are reporting. No details were provided of the incident, but for what it’s worth, Robinson did not travel with the team to Illinois this past weekend.

We are aware of the report,” Michigan coach Brady Hoke said in a statement today. “We will let the legal process run its course, and we will not have any further comment until that time.”

Robinson has been used minimally this season, recording nine tackles in five games with one start.

Michigan fans will still say that what the OSU players did was far worse then this.

Just like how they say OSU cheated but yet it was RR who was stealing signals the first year he played against Tressel. Kinda funny the game changed once the OSU coaches told the players to change their wristbands…

Your so ignorant! Michigan fans are going to say, “Man, this guy is an idiot and we dont need that on our team.” But since your stupid comment, ill add this was 1 guy, an isolated incident. UNLIKE the OSU meltdown that reached all the way up to the head coach.

sinister – you are correct, one guy and an isolated incident. Can I add breaking the law as well?

I could swear someone on here a week or so ago told me they don’t recruit guys with bad character.

Haha, you buckeyes can keep talking about this off the field stuff, but michigan is going to kick your asses this year and end your precious streak of wins, most of which came while you were probably cheating anyway.

I’m ignorant sinister?? Really? This is from people close to the situation my friend. Sorry you can’t handle the truth about your beloved program.

I would rather have 5 players get discounts on measly tattoos then break the law or actually cheat like RR did. And if OSU is in a meltdown, why have more players left the Michigan program then OSU??

Also, our bad record this year is a good year for you guys. Just saying.

I would have expected this from a MSU kid, but I’m surprised and disappointed that he was from Michigan. Then again I was also surprised to see the grades report that came out a month or so ago stating that (if some new rules are implemented) Michigan would have been one of the 6 or so teams that wouldn’t be able to go to a bowl due to poor team academics. (Can’t remember specifics, but if you’ve seen the report you know what I’m talking about).

That being said, I’ve always had respect for Michigan. Pick it up fellas.

    Go Irish.
