If No. 5 Oklahoma is going to hold on against Baylor and keep their BCS championship hopes alive -- USC currently leads No. 4 Oregon 38-20 in the third quarter -- they’ll have to do so without linebacker Ronnell Lewis.
Lewis fell down and clutched his knee in the first half of tonight’s game and was helped off the field. He later returned to the sidelines in the second half wearing street clothes, so his night is over.
Lewis had missed some preseason time with the team as he dealt with a “personal issue”, but has played a major role for the Sooners defense this season.
OU currently leads Baylro 24-17 in the fourth quarter.
