Texas Tech limping through game against Mizzou

Texas Tech’s game against Missouri is coming down to the wire, which is amazing when 1) you consider how poor Tech has been playing lately, and 2) some of the injuries the Red Raiders have endured today.

Just one week after Mizzou back Henry Josey and Texas RB Fozzy Whittaker went down with knee injuries, Missouri’s turf is causing more questions with the right knee injury to TTU receiver Alex Torres. Torres has been on the sidelines on crutches, so the news can’t be good.

Running backs Aaron Crawford and Deandre Washington , as well as offensive line Lonnie Edwards all had to be taken off the field. Crawford made his way back in, but early reports indicate Washington has a sprained knee. Tech really can’t afford any more injuries at running back with Eric Stephens gone for the year.

Still, Tech almost managed to pull off the victory, falling just short by a score of 31-27.
