Earlier this month, JT noted that two of Colorado’s defenders -- CB Ayodeji Olatoye and LB Liloa Nobriga -- were still under suspension after “failing to meet the expectations of being a member of the team.”
Apparently, those won’t get the chance to return to the field for the Buffs at all this season. Or ever. Coach John Embree confirmed today that both Olatoye and Nobriga would not be back with the team next season. Olatoye and Nobriga were one of five players suspended in early October by Embree and were “prohibited from engaging in any football-related activity, but are still responsible to meet all academic requirements.”
Of the two not returning, only Olatoye had any sort of playing experience this year.
