Kansas State 4, state of Texas 0.
That’s the way K-State views it anyway. And they should. The surprising Wildcats -- I sure as heck didn’t have them doing particularly well this year -- are sitting at 9-2 with just one game left against Iowa State and on the verge of a potential Cotton Bowl invite.
Part of K-State’s successful season has been victories over all four Big 12 schools in Texas, and to commemorate, the school is now selling T-shirts that read “Texas State Champs” on the front with the scores of all four victories on the back.
Personally, I think it’s awesome. For a state that produces so much talent and has such history of success in football, of course a school’s going to brag when they accomplish something like this.
Take it as a compliment, Texas. It just means you matter.
