Tennessee WR coach reportedly retires

The first, but perhaps not the last, of Tennessee’s staff changes have reportedly begun.

Multiple media outlets out of Tennessee and CBS’ Bruce Feldman are reporting that Vols WR coach Charlie Baggett has “retired.” Baggett, who was in his second year at UT, will receive departing compensation, although it’s not being specified as a buyout. The amount of that compensation isn’t known.

The school hasn’t officially confirmed the departure yet.

Tennessee finished 2011 a disappointing 5-7, with their bowl hopes dashed by a 10-7 loss to Kentucky -- their first in the last 26 games with the Wildcats.
