Broken leg will sideline Nevada CB for Hawaii Bowl

Nevada will be without one of their defenders and special teams players for this year’s Hawaii Bowl against Southern Miss.

The Reno Gazette-Jounral reports that the redshirt freshman Evan Favors will miss the bowl and spring practice because of a non-contact broken leg he sustained against Idaho.

Favors had 10 tackles on the season.

The bright side is he’ll get to lay on the beach while his teammates get hit for three and a half hours*.

Shoot, I’ll take that for a broken leg.
