Temple vs. Wyoming
Dec. 17, 2 p.m. ET, ESPN
At Albuquerque, N.M.
The dynamic Owl duo of Bernard Pierce and Matt Brown has rushed for 2,248 yards and 30 touchdowns.
That’ll pose a huge problem for the Cowboys, who surrender a whopping 230 yards per game on the ground (115th in the nation).
Temple’s defense is much more formidable, leading the MAC in scoring defense, total defense, rushing defense and passing defense.
This bowl is barely on the map, but you gotta give Steve Addazio and Dave Christensen credit for getting their clubs there.
Opening point spread: Temple by 7 1/2
The pick: Temple 26-14

Wyoming loves the underdog, no-chance-in-hell role…just ask their last two bowl opponents, UCLA, Fresno State.
Must be the same team then, huh?
Yup, the winning team.
Temple almost beat Penn State, before the child molestation fiasco. Lost 14-10, it wasn’t pretty… but if u like D it was awesome!
Don’t have a horse in this race, but sure will be watching… it’s the first game of the bowl season! Can’t wait for the games to get started again. Congrats to both team for getting there.
Wyoming will hang tough through three quarters, but in the end Temple’s ground game will bust loose. I’ll be there to watch it.
Wyoming looks good.
