UCLA’s Mora picks up two new assistants, third one in the works?

Good thing UCLA was approved for a dual-staff waiver by the NCAA. Jim Mora‘s new staff is, little by little, coming together as the Bruins look to move forward from the Rick Neuheisel era.

Multiple media outlets reported last night that UCLA has picked up SMU offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Adrian Klemm. Klemm confirmed the reports this morning. SMU has been at or near the top of the Conference USA recruiting rankings the past two years, according to Rivals.com. Inside UCLA has more on why Klemm is a good pickup for the Bruins.

Additionally, Inside UCLA reports that Arizona State WR coach Steve Broussard is set become the new UCLA running backs coach. Broussard, when asked by Doug Haller of the Arizona Daily Star yesterday if he was going to UCLA, said “That’s news to me.

Not anymore.

It’s unfortunate I couldn’t stay here [at ASU], but I’m excited,” Broussard said today. “I got a lot of family in (Los Angeles), and it’s a good situation.”

And, if that weren’t enough for one day, rumors are beginning to swirl that Washington DB coach Demetrice Martin is on his way to UCLA as well.
