Fordham has found a new head coach nearly a month after firing Tom Masella, who compiled a 27-40 record in his six years with the Rams — including a lowly 1-10 record this season.
According to a school release, Fordham has hired UConn quarterbacks coach Joe Moorhead, a former player for the Rams. A press conference for the hire is set for Friday afternoon.
Moorhead, 39, was previously an assistant at Akron and Georgetown.
UConn struggled with quarterbacks this season. Most notably, the Huskies dealt with QB woes with Johnny McEntee, who made internet waves with his trick shot video early this year.
I guess one year working for the Crypt Keeper was enough for him.
