A week or so after the rumors first surfaced, Texas Tech has officially parted ways with its defensive coordinator.
The Red Raiders confirmed Thursday that Chad Glasgow has been removed as coordinator and is no longer a part of Tommy Tuberville‘s coaching staff. The Dallas Morning News writes that Tuberville has expressed an interest in running a 4-3 defense, although statistics likely played a role in the departure as well.
In 2011, Tech was 117th in scoring defense (39.25 ppg) and tied for 115th in total defense (485.6 ypg) during Glasgow’s first and only season in Lubbock.
The search will now commence for a fourth defensive coordinator in the past four years for the football program.
Thank you Craig James & your cry baby Son
It will be interesting to see what backlash the TT situation has on the idiot’s Senate race in Texas.
Who would vote for the backstabbing James? Tech fans already are mad they fired Leech.
Had baby James not cried to daddy James ttu would still be the best team in Texas.
After the way the season ended someone had to get fired.
6 games into next season, Tubberville will be history!
