A day littered with underclassmen declarations continues into the night, with a member of the North Carolina State Wolfpack announcing his future football intentions.
NCSU confirmed Tuesday that linebacker Terrell Manning has decided to leave a year of eligibility on the table and make himself available for the April NFL draft. The Raleigh News & Observer reports that Manning has already hired an agent.
The news of Manning’s decision is somewhat of a surprise as he had previously stated his intentions were to return to the Wolfpack for another season.
A two-year starter, Manning led the team in tackles for loss with 14.5 and tied for the lead in sacks with five.
