USF’s leading rusher leaving Bulls for greener pa$ture$

Darrell Scott, Curtis Porter AP

South Florida running back Darrell Scott has decided he will jump to the NFL early.

Bulls coach Skip Holtz made the announcement on Twitter earlier today.

Scott, a Colorado transfer from Ventura, California, led USF in rushing this season with 814 yards on 153 carries for six total touchdowns. He hasn’t appeared on Mel Kiper’s draft board for underclassmen and may need a strong combine to get drafted.
