Indiana lands ex-Arizona OC for same job

Nearly three months after his boss was canned as Arizona’s head coach, Seth Littrell has landed on his coaching feet.

In a press release, Indiana announced they have hired the former Wildcats offensive coordinator for the same position with the Hoosiers.

“We received a large amount of interest from a talented pool of applicants, but I kept coming back to Seth,” IU head coach Kevin Wilson said in a statement. “Seth is one of the most innovative, young coordinators in the country. We are excited to incorporate his successful background with the spread passing game into our offense. We welcome Seth, his wife, Becca, and his son, Tripp, to the the Hoosier football family.”

Littrell spent the past three seasons at UA, the last two as either offensive or co-offensive coordinator for Mike Stoops. After his playing career at Oklahoma ended in 2000, he served on coaching staffs at Kansas and Texas Tech.

“This is a great opportunity to work with a great offensive mind in Kevin Wilson," Littrell said. “I am very excited to be at an unbelievable university in the prestigious Big Ten Conference.”
