Houston defensive coordinator James Bryant will have one of the top linebackers from 2011′s recruiting class to work with.
After just one season with LSU, Houston-area LB Trevon Randle is coming back to play for the Houston Cougars, according to Sam Khan of the Houston Chronicle. Randle, from League City, Texas, will be eligible to play for the Cougars in 2013.
Randle was a three-star LB and ranked No. 17 at that position according to Rivals. Khan has a more in-depth look at Randle’s high school career and recruitment.
Although Randle didn’t make an impact for Tigers this season, he is still relatively well-known for different reasons. In the height of the Willie Lyles investigation at Oregon, the NCAA interviewed Randle about a possible connection with Lyles, the owner of Complete Scouting Services. LSU used recruiting material provided by Lyles, although the legitimacy of that material has come into question.

Another character leaving the “Plains”. What a surprise! The NCAA is looking and looking and will ultimately find the filth at Auburn…..
4 days ago Houston promoted linebacker coach Jamie Bryant to D-coordinator come on guys get up to date will all the news man
@thegamecocker
That’s the ‘tigers’ of LSU, not the ones from Auburn…
this guy comes with baggage. I would also venture to say that the vast majority of players from the Houston area that go to LSU end up leaving there.
@lemmam
I would venture to say that you don’t know what you’re talking about. Yes, the players from Houston leave LSU, but it’s with a degree or for the NFL…
LSU haters make such moronic comments…especially the ones from the redneck state of Alabammy…I guess when you have no pro sports, no culture, trailer parks and mullets, you need something to do…stay classy, gumps…
Damn Les, you have had a couple of rough days.
Les, your alright man. You’ve took woarse than this. # years ago you were having to say your sorry for being 6-0. You have done the best job in LSU history and nothing to be, but PROUD of what you have done there. LSU has to have the worst fans in college football. They are the Philly Eagles of college sports.
