ReutersAs we’ve been noting throughout the week, a public memorial for Joe Paterno today ends the three-day remembrance for the long-time Penn State coach.
The memorial will be held at 2 p.m. ET at the Bryce Jordan Center. The ticket allotment for the 15,000-seat arena has already been given out.
According to Penn State’s athletic site, there will be a live stream of the event.
CSN Philly will have the stream HERE.
The school’s athletic site will also have it HERE.
Or, the Big Ten Network will provide coverage of the event.
Paterno was laid to rest yesterday after a final public viewing and private funeral. He passed away over the weekend at the age of 85 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Are you kidding me? Bury the guy and call it good.
“Where you can watch Paterno’s memorial at 2 p.m. ET”
Let me guess…..Is the World Wide Leader showing it?
I prefer to waste my time 0n PFT.
RIP JoePa
Now it’s time to fire all 32 of the Board of Trustee members who have consistently pretended that their heads were in the sand while Sandusky was on the loose.
It’s on ESPN and ESPN U too.
Joe Pa was the king of PSU. the outpouring of emotion from the penn staters and the admin at the school prove this. one can only wonder how much he was told by mcqueery and how much he passed on. There is NO doubt in my mind that he-Joe Pa could have put an end to Sandusky’s bs also. JoePa was king at penn state and everything and anything he wanted was approved. rip

Right. The Board of Trustees knew what was going on, administrative heads of the university knew, Paterno’s subordinates knew, and yet Joe Paterno didn’t know. That’s hard to believe.
The BOT are all made up of professionals that spend little time on campus and meet 6-8 times per year. What makes you think that the present group on the board knew about Sandusky?
Frank booth must have just caught wind of this story and hasn’t heard the part where JoePa tells his superiors about the incident. He must work for the media. Always trying to create a storm. Turd.
Turd storm….
RIP JoePa

blueglaze- Did JoePa tell the Board of Trustees about this? Did his superiors relay what he said to the BOT? Why don’t you tell me what the Board of Trustees knew? I’m waiting.
