Padron did a nice job. Can’t blame him for a poor game against A&M when SMU was clearly outmatched. McDermott did a nice job as a starter, but I’m not sure why Jones didn’t go back to Padron in Game 2 knowing McDermott was in his last year. if Padron continued to struggle, sit him, but he shoulda had the chance.

This might be a break for the kid. When was the last time a June Jones QB had success in the NFL? It’s obvious that’s what Padron’s primary interest is, rather than an SMU degree. He will have a better chance at a pro career somewhere else.

this kid has the size, 6’4″, 233# but has not panned out. best of luck to him
