For better or worse, Cal, Oregon, Washington and UCLA have made the most headlines in the Pac-12 when it came to the commitments and switches of National Signing Day.
But don’t overlook the Stanford Cardinal, which is quietly having a solid day at the fax machine as National letters of Intent roll in.
The Cardinal picked up offensive linemen Andrus Peat (pictured) from Tempe, AZ, the 32nd-best player nationally according to Rivals.com, and Kyle Murphy, the 19th-best player. That decision came hours after Leesburg, FL, linebacker Noor Davis said he would be committing to Stanford as well. Davis is the No. 3 outside linebacker according to 247Sports.
At about 5 p.m. ET, defensive tackle Aziz Shittu, a 247Sports Top 100 player, signed his letter of intent to play for Stanford.
Of course, those commitments are merely in addition to guys like offensive lineman Josh Garnett (Puyallup, WA), safety Alex Carter (Ashburn, VA) and running back Barry Sanders (Oklahoma City, OK).

So far, though, the Cardinal are doing quite well and getting some solid players in the trenches and on defense.
