Rutgers reportedly to gain one, lose one on coaching staff

Greg Schiano is off with the Tampa Bay Bucs, but Rutgers’ coaching changes aren’t quite done.

The Scarlet Knights will be losing wide receivers coach P.J. Fleck to Northern Illinois to be the Huskies’ offensive coordinator; NIU made the announcement today.

However, Rutgers will reportedly be getting a new offensive line coach with Kyle Flood being promoted to head coach. That replacement is said to be Delaware O-line coach Damian Wroblewski, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. RU, however, has not confirmed that report just yet.

“I’m not ready to announce who our offensive line coach is just yet,” Flood said."But I know who I want and he is excellent. I really believe he’s the best offensive line coach in the country.”

Wroblewski, according tot he Star-Ledger, was reportedly supposed to be heading to Ball State.
