Ron West officially joins ASU’s coaching staff

Arizona State Introduces Todd Graham Getty Images

Following up on the initial reports from the other day, Ron West has officially moved on from his post as defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach at New Mexico to Todd Graham‘s (pictured) coaching staff at Arizona State.

ASU made the announcement today via a release.

West was only with the Lobos for a month after spending the last two seasons with Illinois as the outside linebackers coach. He also spent theĀ 2009 season as the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Tulsa while Graham was the head coach of the Hurricanes.

ASU didn’t announce what role West will officially be taking, but it’s been reported he will be the co-defensive coordinator.

if he was at his last stop for a month it is easy to see why Graham likes his style

I guess his family really like packing and unpacking. At least stay around long enough to determine if it was the wrong move.
