The overhaul of Texas A&M’s coaching staff with the hiring of Kevin Sumlin was finally completed just few days ago when the Aggies confirmed Matt Wallerstedt was hired as linebackers coach.
Not so fast. It appears one more coaching spot has suddenly become vacant. According to Mark Passwaters of AggieYell.com, defensive line coach Terrell Williams will leave the Aggies to join the Oakland Raiders in the same capacity.
The Houston Chronicle, Dallas Morning News and San Antonio Express-News have also reported the move.
Williams had been with A&M for the past two seasons and previously coached defensive line at Purdue, Sumlin’s alma mater.
