patau61 – Did I say I was a Georgia fan??? Maybe you need to learn how to read before making assumptions. I’m actually a Bama graduate and a devoted Bama fan. Do you want to make the same comment that Bama is also overrated? Are you an AuBarn fan? If so, go ahead and mark it down …. The Barn will have at least four losses and probably five. Maybe you need to write ESPN and tell them what you think about their preseason poll and that you are a genius.

Being a Georgia fan, you should have a little more propensity to veer away from those same rankings that overrate UGA year in and year out.

But you didn’t mention Georgia that Auburn does play and they (UGA) are ranked #5 in ESPN preseason poll and Auburn will lose to them along with losses to Alabama, Arkansas and LSU.

I wouldn’t be so confident NC State fans. A healthy Tennessee team would include an offense that would feature QB Tyler Bray, WRs DaRick Rogers, Justin Hunter, a host of JC additions and a decent senior TE in Rivera. With more starters back than any other team in the nation they might turn some heads Friday night.

Mrslay1, that’s odd that you just spout teams out that you think will beat Auburn. Seeing as S. Carolina doesn’t play Auburn next year, it’s going to be tough for them to beat Auburn.

I am not a Auburn hater but I will say just this about next season…Arkansas, Alabama, LSU and South Carolina. That =8-4 before bowl game. That is if they can beat Clemson, and I hope they do!

I’ll give Auburn credit…..they came out better by 2 games than I predicted them to. I’ve done my fair share of Auburn hating over the years but they did and looked lots better than I thought they would. Good luck against Clemson and I’m not one not to say thanks for your help back in April.

Just for your information… Auburn is not a bottom feeder. They will surpass all expectations this year again. To go 8-5 last year after losing more seniors than any other team in the country, and playing a ton of true freshman….. I don’t feel another team could have pulled that off. Oh by the way not to mention injuries. We’re around the top of food chain in a rebuilding period. Bring on your big bad team!!!!

i agree about UT. that game doesn’t seem all that appealing, but Auburn/Clemson is a pretty decent rivalry game….especially for a season opener.

In all fairness, I think Clemson should have a pretty incredible offense this year with Sammy Watkins and Tajh Boyd. Then again, I’ve been wrong before.
