APBack in December, Terry Price was hired by Tommy Tuberville to coach the defensive line at Texas Tech.
Two months later, Tuberville has reportedly lost the assistant to a soon-to-be-former conference rival.
RedRaiderSports.com is reporting that Price has left Tech to take the same job at Texas A&M. Neither school has confirmed the coaching development.
Price had worked on Tuberville’s staff at Auburn and Ole Miss.
It doesn’t appear, though, that the job with the Red Raiders will be open for long. The same website is reporting that Marshall DL coach Fred Tate is leaving the Herd to take the same position with Tech.
Tate reportedly interviewed for the job Friday and an agreement is expected to be reached in short order.
Oh well, TT knows when given most coaches will head for the SEC. No matter what team it is:-)
Tubbs will be gone in 2 years and replaced by LA Tech coach Dykes.
