Rutgers’ reported coaching gain is UCF’s loss

As has become a theme yet again this time of the year, one college football program is the taketh to another’s giveth when it comes to assistant coaches.

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, future Big East member UCF has lost defensive line coach Jim Panagos to current Big East member Rutgers. Panagos will reportedly assume the same position with the Scarlet Knights.

The Star-Ledger reports that an official announcement from RU will not come until later this coming week.

When it officially comes to fruition, Panagos’ hiring will complete Kurt Flood‘s first RU coaching staff.
