Beaver DB busted for drunk driving, fleeing police

As is oft-times the case during the offseason, we can once again reset the “Days Without An Arrest” ticker back to double zeros.

According to The Oregonian, Oregon State defensive back Sean Martin (pictured, No. 6) was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with driving under the influence and attempting to elude police officers. The soon-to-be redshirt junior was released shortly after his arrest.

According to a Corvallis Police Department spokesman, officers noticed Martin at the 2600 block of Fillmore Avenue and he sped off in a Dodge Charger. The vehicle was located a few blocks away at 28th street and Martin was identified as the driver.

The football program has yet to comment on Martin’s legal situation.

Martin has played in 12 games the past two seasons, including three during an injury-riddled 2011 campaign.
