Move from UCF to Rutgers made official for Panagos

Kyle Flood AP

Over the weekend it was reported that Jim Panagos would be moving from one future Big East coaching staff to a current one.

Tuesday, that move became official.

Rutgers announced via press release this morning that it has hired Panagos as defensive line coach.  Panagos had spent the past five seasons coaching the same position at UCF.

The hiring completes new head coach Kyle Flood‘s first RU coaching staff.

Prior to his time with the Knights, Panagos spent four seasons (2002-2005) with the Minnesota Vikings.
