We know, we know. Slow news day.
But Saturday’s practice was more eventful for Middle Tennessee coach Rick Stockstill, who saw one of his new early enrollees leave with a pretty bad shoulder injury.
Via a tweet courtesy of Blue Raiders beat writer Adam Sparks, former JUCO wide receiver Marcus Henry suffered a separated shoulder in his first practice with the school. Sparks would only elaborate that Henry would be out “a while”; no one from MTSU has given a definite timetable for how long Henry could be sidelined.
Henry was a two-star recruit (Rivals.com) in MTSU’s 2012 class from Northwest Mississippi College. In nine games last season, Henry pulled in 46 receptions for 745 yards and nine touchdowns.
