‘Costas Tonight’ to take on college athletics Wednesday

It’s been a fascinating and pivotal past couple years for college athletics, and Wednesday night, one of the best in media business is going to host a live town hall meeting to discuss the major issues in collegiate sports.

Bob Costas of “Costas Tonight: Live from 30 Rock” will speak with NCAA president Mark Emmert one-on-one and moderate a panel on college athletic headlines. Topics will include academics, BCS realignment/expansion and Title IX concerns. Among the guests in appearance will be:

Bill Hancock, Executive Director of the BCS
Jay Bilas, ESPN college basketball analyst
Doug Woolard, athletic director of South Florida
Drew Rosenhaus, sports agent
Sonny Vaccaro, former Nike, adidas, Reebook executive
Doug Flutie, NBC Sports analyst

The show will air at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday on NBC Sports Network. We’ll have a wrap-up and some reactions from the episode afterward.
