The boys have so been robbed. I hope she is punished as well as Petrino. Even if she isn’t fired that is going to make for one uncomfortable workplace; being the only woman on staff and the one to cause such grief. I am thinking a exile to the Bermuda Triangle may be in order for her. I’m sure if it wasn’t her it would have been someone else though. Scumbags like Paterno aren’t very discerning.

I think it’s time to promote the other Petrino to intern HC for this coming year. Why not, he has been as much a victim as anyone here. He was on all those staffs with his big brother when he bailed on them.

How about being Paul and being on that Falcon staff, waking up one morning and watching big brothers new conference at the U of A. How did he feel getting left behind there. Has anyone ever heard this guy complain? He must have been harassed big time while he finished out that year.

He just returned this January after being gone for 4 years only to have this happen to him again. This guy knows the system and can run an offense. He is opposite to his brother, maybe the reason he has yet to land a head coaching job. Won’t lie or step on others to get what he wants. Paul knows offense and can compete and I think he is a good person. Just a thought.

Does anyone else look at the thumbs up/down on each post? Maybe it’s just me, but there are several that have just 1 thumbs down, when the majority of readers giving thumbs up. Be willing to bet ole mikey slay is behind that one.

Loss of her fiance’ (cross off the June 9th wedding date)

Likely loss of a job she knew she had an unfair and unethical advantage in obtaining.

Unwanted national attention, her face on USA Today, Yahoo Sports, ESPN, etc…

The wrath of her alma mater.

Well Hog fans, we were warned by the Falcons fans who I held a deep grudge against due to their constant belittling of Petrino, but now we get it. This team is full of veteran leadership and will prosper under whoever the coach is next season. It’s after next season that I’m worried about.

This man seems to have no ability to say no. It does appear, however, that she sexually harassed him. Wasn’t difficult to get him into a situation that led to her advantage. Then she got a job and $20,000 out of him.
I will admit he is not a good person to keep as UAes coach. Yet I can not understand why she has not been fired also.
It is time to interview the rest of the applications. I know I would not want to hire her and I can’t understand why anyone else would. If she did it once she will do it again. He is not the only roach in the parler. She is a two headed one. Surely they are not planning to keep her after all she has done.

The irony is that had Petrino issued his post-firing statement the day after the accident, he just might still be employed. (I’d say “definitely” except the $20,000 he gave Dorrell was a bombshell that would have been hard to overcome. He really thought he could get away with anything, didn’t he?)

Looking over Petrino’s history, he’s a jerk on every level. Not loyal to his players, not loyal to his bosses, not loyal to his wife and kids, screws the fiance of another coach…. They’re far better off without him.

As a rabid Arkansas fan I am so relieved that Petrino has been fired. I’m so sick of coaches and players being held to higher standards than everyone else. There are certain moral standards that need to be upheld when leading children and young adults. It’s about time that someone was punished for adultery (I know this technically isn’t the case) and held accountable for their actions. Marriage is a commitment and if you can’t uphold your end of that kind of a commitment to your wife and kids that trust and love you then what kind of person does that make you? Certainly not someone I want setting an example for my kids. That being said, I sure do hope this season isn’t blown for us. We’ve got a good team and these boys have worked so hard and I hate to see it go down the tubes

Long knew as everyone else did when he hired Petrino that he was a dirtball. Long’s press conference was one of the more pathetic displays in sports in a long (no pun intended) time. Arkansas should get rid of Long along with Petrino. He is a fool and a buffoon.

I’m saying that because you probably don’t know anything about the Murdoch’s scandal in England, where basically he’s been electronically bugging the entire country (including the equivalent of their President and VP) and using the resulting power to intimidate and control the people in that country through his media outlets.
