Ex-Texas Tech QB reportedly headed to Louisiana Tech

Following a somewhat lengthy decision-making process, former Texas Tech quarterback Scotty Young has finally landed at a new destination.

Per Chris Level of RedRaiderSports.com, Young will team up with former TTU co-offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes at Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs have been in play for Young for a while, as has North Texas.

Young did not record any stats in 2011 and was eventually buried behind Seth Doege, Jacob Karam and Michael Brewerand on the Red Raiders depth chart.

Young was a four-star quarterback (Rivals.com) in TTU’s 2010 signing class who hailed from Ryan HS (TX).

Tom T. Will not survive at TTech. Look for Patrino to pop up there after next season. Tubberville not right for tech. Firing Leach tremendous error in judgement by Admin and powers that be
