Purdue’s leading rusher arrested for suspicion of public intoxication

Sidelined for the Little Caesar’s Bowl with a torn ACL, Purdue’s leading rusher from a year ago could be in danger of missing more time for a legal issue.

New details regarding running back Ralph Bolden‘s arrest last week have been public, and it appears Bolden forcibly “kissed an older female… against her will. She was crying.”

The incident took place at a local bar.

According to police, Bolden left through a back exit that leads into an alley and walked away when police arrived — the RB had previously refused to leave —  and then ignored orders from officers to stop.

Bolden was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, although no formal charges have been filed. Purdue coach Danny Hope said he was aware of the situation and would handle in internally. Bolden had 674 yards last season.

Slow news day? He was drinking and tried to kiss a woman in a bar. Big deal. Throw him in jail and kick him off the team. Penalty fits the crime. NOT!

I fully agree. Our young men. don’t seem to have any respect for ladies, of any and all ages. What he did may seem simple, but it WAS A BIG DEAL to the lady. I say spend 6 months in jail.
