Oh, pooh. More NCAA nitpicking. Kids transfer from one college to another and change their majors every day for trivial reasons–like, say, they’ve screwed around and are flunking out. But no one makes them sit a year before they can start classes at their new school or in their new program.

So what if Sims left Bama in the hope of getting a starting position? He’s a talented QB–just not as talented as McCarron. That doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get a chance to compete for the starting position at Virginia, and a shot at an NFL career when he’s ready. Good grief, let him play.

When Sims signed with Bama he knew where he was going and what he wanted.Now hes thinking about a hardship waiver that would allow him to play immediately.If the NCAA allows this then any kid jumping ship should be allowed to play also.I see no hardship but just a little baby not getting his way.IMO the reason you never made starter was you never tried hard enough or just wasn`t good enough.So when you get to Virginia be sure to tell everyone that you at one time was a National Champion and see how long you can get them to believe you.IMO Bama should give you nothing for last seasons NC.
