Some links from around college football on a Friday…
– You guys, Spencer Hall just defeated the internet.
– Not a whole lot of new info here, but Missouri quarterback James Franklin does appear to be on track for an August return. Running back Henry Josey, who sustained a devastating knee injury? Not so much…
– Nebraska’s president still isn’t down with a playoff and prefers a plus-one instead.
– Is there a relationship between college football wins and academic donations?
– Former Ohio State quarterback Art Schlichter will get 10 years, seven months for his sports-ticket scam. He also has brain damage, and will donate it for study after his death.
– Documents show Jerry Sandusky could have as many as 17 accusers. Not surprising if true.
Ben, I would love to know why in the Sam Hill that “Notify me of follow-up comments via email” box has suddenly been checked on every article I read both here and on PFT. I sure as heck didn’t check it. Are you guys having some tech problem or is it just me? Please turn it off.
Sandusky should be put to death by a firing squad.
No idea Deb. I’ll get back to you on that. For now, just uncheck the box on your own (I know it’s a pain).
That’s just the problem, Ben. I can’t uncheck it. Have tried to do that both here and on PFT, but the checks just reappear. Even though I’ve only commented on a couple of articles, with PFT that’s a lot of e-mails pouring in. I finally blocked the domain, but it still holds up my e-mail while the program transfers everything to junk.
yeah, I’m getting owned by that as well… to the tune of over 30 e-mails a day.
I’m really sorry about that, guys. I promise I’ll let you know the moment I’ve heard back from IT.
@thraiderskin …
Thanks! That’s why I posted it–was hoping to find out if it was happening to anyone else.
It’s certainly taking a long time for tech support to resolve its problems.
