APNext up to reset the “Days Without an Arrest” ticker to double zeroes? Purdue’s Antavian Edison.
According to the Fort Myers News-Press, the Boilermakers wide receiver, who went to high school in the city, was arrested very early Sunday morning and charged with carrying a concealed weapon. That charge is a felony.
The West Lafayette Journal & Courier reports that Edison’s younger brother was hit with the same charge, as well as a weapons charge for being a convicted felon in Florida in possession of a gun or ammo.
There were no details made available as to what lead to the arrest and charges. The school would only tell the Journal & Courier that the program is currently in fact-gathering mode and therefore has no comment.
Last season, Edison led the Boilermakers in receiving yards with 584; tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns with three; and finished second in receptions with 44.
Thug is = Thug does.
“Boilermakers wide receiver, who went to high school in the city”…
Are we to conclude that because he went to school in the city that this is somehow acceptable? Did his younger brother go to school in the city also; therefore, both participants behavior is tolerable.
Get the thug out of the school and jail his ass. Make examples of these clowns or this shit doesn’t stop.
