Oregon State CB/KR in trouble again

Of course. It’s the offseason. I mean, what else are these kids going to do, obey the law? Study for finals? BWAHAHAHAHALULZ!!!!1!!1!

Be that as it may, Oregon State cornerback Malcolm Marable is quickly having one of the more eventful springs this year, having been indefinitely suspended for voluntary winter workouts after clocking in at 104 mph in a 65 mph zone back in February. Now, he’s on the wrong side of the law again.

Cliff Kirkpatrick of the Corvallis Gazette-Times reports that Marable was arrested on charges of violent conduct just after midnight this morning after he reportedly hit a nightclub security guard. The story says Marable, 19, became violent when trying to “free” teammate Ryan Murphy.

Murphy had been detained by nightclub personnel after trying to enter the establishment with identification belonging to a teammates, and was ultimately cited for trespassing and misrepresentation of age.

Marable played in 12 games as a true freshman last season and averaged nearly 25 yards on 13 kickoff returns.

OSU has not commented on the situation yet and it’s not known what disciplinary action, if any, Marable and Murphy will face.
