Ex-Purdue RB heading to North Texas

With former Texas tight end Darius Terrell already signed up, North Texas has added another transfer this offseason.

Ex-Purdue running back Reggie Pegram confirmed to the Denton Record-Chronicle that he will be transferring to the Mean Green after two seasons with the Boilermakers. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Pegram also says he plans to file a hardship waiver with the NCAA because his mother has a health problem.

Pegram saw very limited action last season, but did record five rushes for 24 yards and three catches for 20 yards combining for two total touchdowns in Purdue’s Little Caesar’s Bowl win over Western Michigan. He had 109 yards on 22 carries in all.
