Pitt FB hospitalized for ‘medical condition’, in stable condition

Pitt Logo

Unfortunately, there’s some concerning news out of Pittsburgh as backup fullback Derrick Burns was hospitalized Tuesday for an undisclosed medical condition, the school said in a statement.

However, Burns is said to be in stable condition. He was complaining of headaches while at home and taken to the hospital for further tests.

Burns, a redshirt sophomore, was competing for playing time this fall for the Panthers. Obviously, here’s hoping Burns is okay and recovers quickly.
