Porn shoot took center stage at L.A. Coliseum

Coliseum AP

Yep, it’s the offseason.  And I have no idea where this is headed, but let’s get started and see where it takes us…

In a report that appeared in Wednesday’s Los Angeles Times, the paper reports that “a hard-core pornographic movie that featured 40 minutes of group sex” was filmed on the turf and in the locker room of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, football home of the USC Trojans.  The film, titled “The Gangbang Girl #32″, was reportedly shot in 2001 and released in 2002.

There’s no word on why, with the football-themed film a decade old, the news is just now coming out.  And, no, we don’t know if any Trojans of any sort were or weren’t injured in the filming of the movie.

The Times reached out to one of the “actors” who took part in the film, who said he was “in awe” of filming on the iconic and historic — and state-owned — site.

“I was just in awe that we were at the Coliseum,” the actor, who stage name is Mr. Marcus, told the paper. “I’ve made movies for about 20 years and I’ve done a lot of things, but that one really stands out.… I mean, who gets to have sex on the Coliseum floor?”

(Writer’s note: yes, that last sentence will certainly be in the group of finalists for Quote of the Year.)

There’s also no word on how exactly the production was permitted to take place in the Coliseum at night, the Times writes, “with the Coliseum’s towering lights blazing and its rows of distinctive red and white seats framing many of the scenes.”

“That’s disgusting,” the attorney for the former general manager of the Coliseum said of the porn shoot, not of the Times‘ turning of a phrase.  Current commissioners who were on the Coliseum’s panel at the time of the shoot declined to comment on the revelation.

The Coliseum was in the news recently when the commission voted to approve a lease agreement that gives USC control over day-to-day operations through at least 2054.  As part of the agreement, the university will spend at least $70 million in upgrades to the Coliseum as well take control over the stadium’s revenue.

We’re assuming that one of those revenue streams won’t include the adult film industry.

And they want an NFL team. Now we know how they will pay for the new stadium since within a year of opening it will mostly be empty seats. Just like before.

At least it was consensual drilling, unlike when the Rams were the ones being filmed there.

PRO TIP: When filming a sex scene with someone known as “The Gangbang Girl”, it’s always advisable to bring quite a few Trojans.

Is it true Bill Belicheck filmed the entire movie?

By all indications, the first 31 “Gangbang Girl” attempts did not meet their lofty standards.
    Hoping Lucky 32 worked out.

Going deep will never mean the same thing again coming from an announcer doing a game in that stadium.

Might want to rethink that one, JT :)
