College Station mayor has a video response for Will Muschamp

It’s been over a year since former Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp left to take the head coaching job at Florida. Still, there’s been a certain “once a Longhorn, always a Longhorn” type of... something... that’s followed Muschamp from Austin to Gainesville.

Back in May, Muschamp was speaking to the Polk County Gator Club when he dropped the following one-liner about Florida’s first trip to Texas A&M this fall.

You ever been to College Station? It’ll be the only time you go.

Harmless. Even for the offseason it didn’t register on most radars, though it did prompt A&M coach Kevin Sumlin to tell Muschamp to “worry about his own team.” Still, it was hardly a war of words and the situation died on its own.

That is until College Station Mayor Nancy Berry came up with a YouTube gem that photoshops Muschamp’s head into pictures from all over the city. Yeah, it’s still an offseason story, but Berry’s video is clever and puts a good spin on the situation.

Enjoy.
