@bill – don’t laugh yet… you totally missed it – and we agree on several points.

My point: I don’t agree with disdain or disrespect from anyone over an idiology. It’s childish.

I’m convinced that almost all religion does not represent God for the reason you mentioned… and many more disgusting atrocities.

Scriptural accuracy is far different from ‘religion’.

Don’t bother to arrest this vermin, shot him on sight. If he gets arrested, some PR seeking group will milk his trial for their non- death penalty cause. And we all know who they are. Holder, left wing Christians and the George Clooney Hollywood mob. Besides , we don’t need another sequel to “The Green Mile.”

Unfortunately, I don’t buy that all thumbs down on these type posts come from unbelievers. Plenty of unbelievers are respectful of others offering prayers and condolences. And many professed Christians are so consumed by hatred they’ve deluded themselves into thinking God doesn’t know what they are or what they do in secret … if they ever truly cared.

Are you seriously stating that science lacks full evidence while religion provides it. I don’t care what religion you practice, if that was your intent, that is one of the most laughable statements I have ever heard. And more violence has been done in the name of religion than one can imagine.

@Deb – I agree – those who ‘thumbs down’ prayers and condolences believe that current human behavior has actually evolved to it’s current state.

‘Devolution’ is a more accurate description. More violence, more often with far less compassion and love.

When science is one’s ‘religion’ – the faithful miss that science lacks both full evidence and hope, being full of conjecture.

Thats why prayers and ‘real’ hope are so important.

Desmonte Leonard has been charged with three counts of capital murder and fled the scene with two others. U.S. Marshalls and FBI are assisting local police in the search.

Yes, we all have rooting interests for our favorite team and should be able to forget them at times like this. Sadly, judging by the thumbs down you always see on posts offering prayers and condolences, several people don’t have the character to do that … or any character at all.

#kozbee, was it made public that some guy named “Desmonte Leonard” was the shooter? If they’ve identified the guy, praise the Lord. Hope they can quickly apprehend the guy before he ruins someone else’s life.

We all have rooting interests for our favorite college team, but today I think I’ll be an Auburn Tigers fan. Prayers and God’s blessing to the Auburn community.

If you were the shooter just a couple facts maybe never crossed your mind when you did those killings.Capital punishment in Alabama/first execution was carried out in 1812 and and when your found guilty you will be just another number.To bad for you it was reinstated on March 25, 1976 for those like you that are willing to cause those pain and suffering.If they find you guilty may God rest your soul.

As bad as it sounded originally, these details are so much worse: three young men dead, a fourth critically wounded and fighting for his life, plus Mack and another wounded with injuries that weren’t life threatening. May God be with all their families, friends, coaches, teammates, and the Auburn family during this tragic time. Deepest condolences to all those mourning the deaths of loved ones.
