GT LB gets Ramblin’ Wrecked, charged with public intoxication

Finally, some offseason normalcy.

Via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Tech linebacker Corey Alford was arrested over the weekend and charged with public intoxication (pictured), disorderly conduct and hindering law enforcement officers for his alleged involvement in a bar altercation.

A police spokesperson said Alford " would not comply” with officers attempting to arrest him at Boar’s Head bar around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning. All of Alford’s charges are misdemeanors.

Alford, a former walk-on, played mostly on special teams last season.
