Just 10 days after it became official that USC quarterback Jesse Scroggins would be transferring from the program, there’s confirmation as to where he will be heading.
And, as one of our readers pointed out, it is indeed El Camino Junior College. The news was made official by Scroggins to Breeze Prep Sports and was confirmed later by the college’s head coach.
The JUCO is located about a half hour from Scroggins’ hometown of Lakewood, CA.
A four-star member of USC’s 2010 class according to Rivals.com, Scroggins was reportedly battling academic issues this spring and missed six games in 2011 with a thumb injury he suffered in practice. He only took one snap against Washington last season, but did not record a pass. Scroggins redshirted in 2010.

You go play for Coach Feather, he runs a wide open offense and you will love it. Good luck to yu and your future.
Feather runs a great program. Scroggins, if he starts, will put up huge numbers…and end up somewhere like UNLV or Wyoming. Not as big of a stage but if the kid renews his discipline he’ll end up with a free education and that’s what is all about.
It would be great for him to sign with UCLA post El Camino ! The hype would be awesome and “still” get a solid education.
I find that an interesting choice there. That would be exciting for the rivalry if he did in fact sign with ucla, I like it.
As well, I can see JS being recruited to a few other Pac 12 schools such as Uof A, Oregon St, CU or Cal, as well as SDSU would be a good spot.
If he stays healthy, he will go off and he will have numerous schools knocking on his door. I root for the kid as I beleive he is a player with a lot of up side.
Good for him probably wouldn’t have started anyways
