Oregon State LB suspended for undisclosed reasons

About the only things guaranteed to keep our rumor mill churning through the offseason are arrests and suspensions. (I’m not including realignment and playoff talks because, well, I’m mad at them right now… They know why.)

Anyway, the latest player to be suspended is Oregon State sophomore linebacker Josh Williams. As for the reason? Undisclosed violation of team rules. Coach Mike Riley (pictured) said yesterday that Williams will have the opportunity to be reinstated at a later date provided he completes certain criteria laid out for him.

Williams played in four games last season for the Beavers as a true freshman, recording as many total tackles.

But … we’re up to 12 days without an arrest!

    Now what do we do?
