OSU’s Storm Klein facing domestic violence charge

For the second time this offseason, first-year Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is facing an off-field situation involving one of his players.

According to BuckeyeNation.com, linebacker Storm Klein was arrested Friday and is facing charges of domestic violence and assault. Or, at least, the website has couched the situation as "[a] man matching the description of Buckeyes linebacker Storm Klein” and “a 6-foot-3, 240-pound man with blonde hair named Storm Klein.”

The school has not confirmed that it is the real Klein facing the charges. Additionally, no details were made available as to what led to the arrest.

While Klein started 10 games last season, he was No. 2 on the depth chart headed out of spring practice this year.

In early June, tight end Jake Stoneburner and offensive lineman Jake Mewhort were charged with “obstructing official business.” Each player was indefinitely suspended and had their scholarships revoked for the summer.
