APSome links from around college football on a Friday…
- More reaction from the Freeh report, courtesy of Grantland. Brilliant piece.
- Former Penn State players voiced their opinions too.
- The Freeh report and the investigation by the Pennsylvania state attorney general’s office differ greatly. Why?
- Storm Klein‘s lawyer works for the firm that represented other Ohio State players during Tatto0-Gate.
- Bizarre story here about a fight Nick Saban‘s daughter got into some time back. Warning: content contains Facebook statuses, sorority girls, hair pulling and the younger Saban (allegedly) mercilessly beating another girl’s face into hamburger.
- South Carolina named its new athletic director today.
Excellent pair of hires, SC
And you thought Daddy Saban was rough on reporters….
“CHIP-ess off the ol’ block!”
Guess there are some Clemson fans who didn’t like me congratulating SC on hiring their new AD and a new baseball coach to replace Coach Tanner, the new AD.
So is Saban’s daughter beating someone up (and having the case closed in mere hours) now “The Alabama Way?” Sure smacks of some coercion by a “higher up” in the football administration….
Maybe she should start playing a sport to release her aggressions. Would we have heard about it if her name were not Saban.
manchestermiracle:
It was a simple fight between two people; it’s not like you need to call a special prosecutor and a grand jury to investigate it. And the other girl declined to press charges, so why would the police continue to pursue it?
The only reason I can think of is to make fun on Nick Saban. It really makes no sense.
I would rather talk about the guy that tried to rob a convenient store, but his mommy walked in and took his gun away!!!!
