Clemson, FSU, UNC lead preseason All-ACC team

ACC Logo

ACC media voted on this year’s preseason all-conference team, and the results were released Wednesday.

In all, 11 of the 12 members were represented by at least one selection, the lone team not on the list being Boston College. Preseason favorite Florida State had four selections, with Clemson and UNC also having four.

The only unanimous selection was Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins. Personally, I was a little surprised to see NC State cornerback David Amerson did not receive the same recognition.

Anyway, here’s the preseason All-ACC team, with votes in parenthesis.

Would love to know the reasoning behind those who didn’t vote Amerson.

I know Greg Reid faced some issues… but it’s hard to put too many people in the country ahead of him as a returner.

Got some punters in here..Woosh wooosh. That’s it UM? a punter? []_[] ignored pretty much every rule in existence for years and you still have ZERO depth. And Emmert will hammer you bad soon. When you are being investigated and still committing violations you get dealt with in an extremely harsh manner. What a cruel joke that program has become.

    Suck it Miami.

When the NFL is falling all over themselves to get Logan Thomas into the league in April we’ll see how much sense it made putting Tajh Boyd over him in this spot.

The ACC has to be feeling good about itself these days. It is in a good spot thanks to the Orange Bowl contract.

@ Andy – Probably they were voting for the much better CB…Xavier Rhodes.

35longinches, How’s our most loyal fan of the U doing. Glad to see that once again you are trolling and commenting on the Canes thats what makes you our best fan. By the way we have noticed that you are one of those real tuff guys with a keyboard, but you STILL wont say who your other favorite team behind the Canes of course is.

Will today be the day we learn which team besides the Canes you also like, come on 35longinches YOU CAN DO IT.

Missed on B. Werner the German terror from FSU. He is better than B Jenkins, but its all name recognition with these pre-season lists. smh.

In fact, their third string guy, Tank Carridine may end being the best of the three. But why go with what I say….JUST LOOK AT THE STATS FROM LAST YEAR….

    These list SUCK, as usual

Wow the canes only have one preseason all america that must mean they are going to be awful lets just go to through all the lists and pick the national champion i mean was more of a lock then the media and any kind of preseason prediction they always get it those correct. Miami fans look at the end results not at dumbass picks we’ve won multiple championships.
