APSome links from around college football on a Sunday…
- What’s the best case scenario for Penn State moving forward?
- Alabama has Michigan’s full attention for this year’s season opener.
- From the New York Times circa 1987: Penn State pursued SMU players when the Mustangs got the Death penalty.
- Oh my, Tim Beckman. I would say “American Idol” is not for you.
- Some interesting ideas from Eric Crawford on how the Big East can reinvent itself.
- USC got its 18th verbal commitment for the class of 2013. The Trojans have 18 spots available.
I like the comments about the Big East. I would like to see Cinci, Rutgers, BSU, and S. Fl. playing people like Clemson,VaTech, and FSU. I would not be surprised to see the Big East winning some of those games. It is true they are not as good as some of the better teams but they are just as good as the ACC.
If the ACC disagrees, prove it. Trash talk does not cut it. Prove it on the field or admit to being the worst conference out there.
I know Alabama can beat Michigan really bad. However, they should not take Michigan with a grain of salt. They need to want to win and not be looking ahead to an SEC game. Roll Tide!!!!
PSU pursued SMU players? So what?
Are we going to hang onto age old grievances as justification for actions today? In that case, we need to refer to it not as college football but college baseball
