    Teach me how to Grundy > the worm. lol

    This kind of stuff is great for the locker room, and really helps build a TEAM.

    So, we add a group of former PSU players to the growing list of those who recognize the invalidity of the NCAA’s actions.

    The mistake Dr. Emmert made, in my opinion, was his apparent assumption that PSU would simply acquiesce to the NCAA edict, as other schools have done. Dr. Emmert now realizes he has a lion by the tail.

    I think Dr. Emmert also realizes his actions were indeed imprudent and resulted in myopic and misdirected penalties.

    Just as historic as the NCAA penalties against PSU are, so, too will be the historic reversal.

    @tommy57

    I opposed the NCAA sanctions as well because I felt it was outside their jurisdiction, but the likelihood of them being reversed is almost zero. The players have no standing to file suit and best case for the Paterno estate is that the vacation of wins is overturned and even that would be stretch (they can’t prove damages from any of the other sanctions).

    As for the suit by the BOT members? They might have a case that the president exceeded his authority by accepting the sanctions but probably can’t sue on behalf of the whole board, plus the BOT ultimately voted to uphold the president’s decision anyways.

    Good luck with your opinions, tommy57. I think Emmert doesn’t care what you think.

    PSU was going to be handed the death penalty if he didn’t accept the sanctions currently on hand. It would have been much worse for PSU if they couldn’t have played at all. Be grateful of what you have now.

    where is that clown “dannythebisforbeast?
    he is a moronic PSU zombie.
    PSU is the shame of college football. The Big Ten Conference should just give them the boot, already!
    The B1G doesn’t need PSU!

    Au contraire, PSU is one of the largest revenue generators for the Big 10.

    Let’s not forget that this is a business, and that every other big school is just as much a part of that puzzle as PSU is.

    Yeah, I know. But if I’m going down, I’m going down swinging.
