At 6-5 over 200 lbs Tanner having great height you can bet he will be missed.I seen a clip on this kid and has good speed and strong arm.SC should hope they can get him back, not as many tall QBs in college as he is.For what he did having a beer is about nothing,he could been used at a few positions.SC can still pickup another QB in the recruiting but it hurts to lose a sch to a player that wants to transfer.

Not knowing exactly what was told to Tanner, it appears we made a mistake by letting Tanner McEvoy leave the program. This kid is an exceptional athlete and solid student. He had an exceptional showing this past Spring and could have been either a QB or split end. If he was unwilling to switch positions or didn't get along with the coaching staff, then I understand. But Tanner will make an impact in college somewhere. I hope it will be at Rutgers under the circumstances.
